HDPE: Environmentally aware, Lifetime’s manufacturing process embraces recyclable High Density Polyethylene, using a resin that can be re-formed into alternative products when the time comes to replace.
Revolutionary, HDPE, an innovative polyethylene plastic that incorporates strengtheners to fortify the composition against cracking during winter’s freezing conditions with a UV stabilisation to defend against the heat of the suns rays fracturing & bleaching the surface.
Robustly designed to prevent dents appearing, the construction is formed by combining two walls or skins. The inner side comprises an arrangement of resin ridges to provide substantial bracing with the outer skin meanwhile giving the simulation of a wood paneled building embossed with ornate wood-grain details radiating a desert-sand tinge and is crafted by state-of-the-art blow molding procedures.
Each wall panel interlinks with adjoining panels and locks into the floor then abutting underneath the roof structure to eliminate rainwater leaks at the wall-roof connection. High grade steel screws secure the panels to the shed’s steel framework resulting in a sturdy overall construction.
High Density Polyethylene is impermeable to damp, icy conditions, rainfall and the effect of the sun. Unaffected by rot, this imperishable resin eliminates maintenance, it’s not designed for painting nor varnishing. Cleaning merely involves undertaking the odd wash, a pressure blaster makes short work of the job.
Looking for an easy slab option? Video below shows how to do a simple slab using a timber frame and bags of concrete. A slab is not required but is a great way to ensure your shed has a flat, stable base.
Some tips: Compress the dry cement before adding water - Wet the soil beforehand and continue to wet the surrounding soil during curing - Dig a small trench around the perimeter if erosion or crumbling of the edge is a concern - Use your surrounding formwork to create a level slab - Wait 1-2 hours after first misting, then apply more water via shower setting every 1-3 hours - Keep applying water for a few days to assist in curing

I rarely give reviews, but this Lifetime shed met and exceeded my expectation.
I purchased the 10×8 ft shed over 10 years ago. Moving it between locations we’ve disassembled and reassembled it 3 times (marked the pieces). Of course the assembly took 1-1/2 hours, about 1/3rd the time as the first time…which took about 5 hours.
Foundation: The first time it was placed on a bed of gravel, 2nd time 1ft square patio blocks, then the last time I poured a rough concrete slab (recommended) using 2x4s and pre-mixed sacked concrete. Make it 1 or 2 inches bigger than the dimensions of the plastic floor. (Note: The plastic floor is not exactly the same dimension as the “shed size”. So get your shed on-site, measure the plastic floor, before building the foundation.
Tips: As with building ANY structure, make sure the foundation is perfectly level. If not, then the roof and the doors do not line-up as expected. Still, you can shim-up the corner to align these. Also, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screw fasteners when assembling. Don’t think tighter is better…you will strip out the plastic material and the screws may eventually fall out. That said, screws snug-tight, after multiple assemblies, has held perfectly for over 10 years.
Weather: I wanted a “maintenance free” shed. This shed is on our ranch property where we get high winds, salt air, and scorching sun. ANYTHING steel, unless galvanized, will rust away in just a few years. I made sure that it is partially protected from the prevailing winds off the ocean. Storms in our area can deliver 85+ miles-per-hour gusts. No problems. Also the metal parts are protected inside so is virtually no rust from the salt air! It has been maintenance free, as expected.
I have been so impressed with this shed that I purchased Lifetime Storage Deck Boxes 3 years ago for the patio furniture cushions. They are the exact same color and durable like the shed. I’m very happy.
My wife now wants to purchase another Lifetime shed, with a side-entrance, to put along-side her raised garden beds. (on order)

I have had this shed for several years. It was a fun project to assemble and has provided excellent, secure storage for my misc. outdoor “stuff” without needing a special permit.
During our second nor’easter in a week, two large pine limbs fell on the shed from quite a height. I heard the “thud” inside the house. Today I took a good look at the damage – virtually none; only a slight indentation in the ridge, but everything is intact. Had this been conventional wood or of lighter construction, it would have been demolished.
After a power washing in the Spring, it will be as good as new. WONDERFUL product, and not unsightly.

Pros:”Great Instructions”,”Sturdy”,”Easy Installation” Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This thing was very easy to assemble. Heck me and my 6 year old son were able to put all of the walls up and then a little help from a friend and we had the whole thing completed in a few short hours. The instructions were great. They even tell you how to build a wooden base if you need it and give you three different options. I took the instructions to the local lumber store and they pre-cut all of the materials for me and it worked perfectly. I am extremely happy with how it looks and it really seems sturdy! By the way this is the first and only shed I have ever built so you don’t have to be a master at construction.

Pros:”durability” Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Just needed to tell a story about this shed: About a Month ago a Tree literally fell on this shed. Not only did the shed divert the tree from it’s original target of my deck, but it withstood the weight of the Tree for about 30 hours before collapsing. Being that the shed is made of mostly plastic I was dumbfounded by the fact that it withstood that much weight on top of it for so long. This is a very durable shed and I just ordered the replacement for the now collasped one. I wouldn’t have bought anything else. Great Product

NEEDING A STORAGE UNIT FOR MY HUSQVARNA RIDING MOWER I CHOSE THIS SHED BECAUSE OF THE NEAT LINES AND LOOKS AS WELL AS THE MATERIAL IT IS MADE FROM. I AM TOTALLY PLEASED WITH MY BUILDING. EVEN THOUGH 3 PEOPLE WERE RECOMMENDED I BUILT THIS SHED ALONE AND USED DUCT TAPE TO HOLD PARTS TOGETHER ON THE ROOF WHILE INSERTING SCREWS. I SPENT A TOTAL OF 12 1/2 HOURS ON THE BUILDING
